Dear Rasmir community,

I recently found an interesting coin from the Artiquids, Nasir al-Din Artuq Arslan, with leopard rider that I posted on Zeno.ru as: #230941

While it seems very similar (see my post description) to another set of dies on Zeno, it is double struck, like a mirror at about 50% of the coin. Is this a known practice, or has anyone come across a similar piece? What would be your interpretation of this strike? An artistic expression?

Thank you very much for any thoughts!

Yours respectfully,

Novize (a beginner in oriental coinage)
